Vigo

The city of Vigo in Galicia (NW Spain) is often referred to as ‘The Gateway to the Atlantic’. The city’s magnificent port is supported by an effective communications network of motorways and railways. The airport Peinador, 10kms from the city, forms part of Spain’s national air network. The area is noteworthy for its traditional customs, the many fjord-like inlets, rías, along its coastline and its spectacular scenery.
