Soria

SoriaThe river Duero skirts the beautiful city of Soria, which features two important monuments: San Polo and San Saturio, with its attractive elm-flanked road alongside of the river. The nearby villages and towns of Almarza, Narros, Golmayo or Arnacón, surrounding the capital, preserve to this very day many age-old customs and traditions.

One singularly interesting town in the locality is Ágreda, the town of the three religions, which has preserved traces of the three quarters: Christian, Arab and Jewish.

The region is famous for the river Duero which waters the plateau and the famous vineyards of the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero.
