Granada

GranadaGranada, situated in the south of Spain in Andalusia, is one of the most beautiful of monumental cities. Its Alhambra Palace, dating back to the Moorish occupation (711-1492) is the most visited monument in Spain.

The mountain range, just 40kms from the city, is a world famous international ski resort (December to April). Mediterranean beaches, where the sun shines almost all year round, are just 50kms away.

Granada is without doubt one of the most fascinating cities in southern Spain. Granada is a university town with a pleasant nightlife and an immense number of bars in the old part of the town where you will find a large variety of tapas (‘snacks, nibbles’) to accompany your drink offered free of charge.
