Burgos

The modern, bustling town of Burgos is famous for its own historical and cultural importance and for that of the surrounding area e.g., the palaeontological sites at Atapuerca on the river Arlanzón. The Camino de Santiago (‘The Way of St James’) passes through Burgos on its way to Palencia.
